Earners of the Business Continuity Management Foundation (ISO 22301) certification have demonstrated foundational knowledge of the ISO 22301.
This certification confirms that the professional has the knowledge to implement, maintain and improve a management system to protect against, reduce the likelihood of the occurrence of, prepare for, respond to and recover from disruptions when they arise, in accordance with the ISO 22301 standard.
The exam covers topics such as key terms and definitions, Context of the organization, Leadership (Leadership and commitment, Policy and Roles, responsibilities and authorities), Support (Resources, Competence, Awareness, Communication and Documented information), Operation (Business impact analysis and risk assessment), Performance evaluation (Monitoring, measurement, analysis and evaluation, Internal audit and Management review), Improvement (Nonconformity and corrective action and Continual improvement).
Earning criteria:
To earn the Business Continuity Management Foundation (ISO 22301) certification candidates must successfully pass the ITC-051: Business Continuity Management Foundation (ISO 22301) exam - Foundational level.
A score of 70% or higher is required to pass the exam.
The ITC-051: Business Continuity Management Foundation (ISO 22301) exam is a closed-book and remotely proctored exam.
ITCERTS recommends that candidates have at least 6 months of work experience in Business Continuity Management before sitting for the exam.
This certification is considered good-for-life and does not expire.
