Course Development Training: Course SME

This badge is awarded to subject matter experts (SMEs) who have applied evidence-based theories and frameworks to compose original content for one module of an online course at American College of Education (ACE). SMEs collaborate with the curriculum development team to plan curricula aligned to specific learning outcomes. They research content, select required readings, design engaging discussions, plan career-relevant assignments, and compose scripts for educational videos. Through collaboration and feedback, SMEs quality assure content, revising and editing their work to production-ready standards.
