Course Development Training: Writing Scripts

This badge is awarded to subject matter experts (SMEs) who have applied evidence-based theories and frameworks to compose original educational video scripts for an online course at American College of Education (ACE). SMEs collaborate with the curriculum development team to research an objective-aligned topic and write scripts for videos that manage cognitive load, incorporate research, and use stories to make new information memorable. Through collaboration and feedback, SMEs quality assure scripts, revising and editing their work to production-ready standards.
